Village Montessori School opens at 7:30am and closes at 5:30pm. The school day begins at 8:30am and ends at 3:00pm and half-days end at 11:30am. We are open for an hour before the start of the school day for drop-off to accommodate various schedules. Please arrive on time; the children begin their lessons at 8:30am and late arrivals disrupt the quiet and order we strive for as a Montessori school, especially for younger ages.
Additionally, picking up your child on time prevents interference with the extended care schedule if you pick up at 3:00pm and with the staff’s time for preparation of the classrooms for the next day if enrolled in extended care. Any child kept after 3:00pm must be enrolled in the extended care option. Families that are late more than twice without prior notification will be billed at a rate of $2.00/minute past their designated pick-up time. Please note that children will not be released to any individual not on the Authorization for Pick-Up and not equipped with age-appropriate vehicle safety restraints.
Tour Our Campus
Please call 501.944.4483 to schedule a private or semi-private tour of our campus. Typically these are scheduled Tuesday through Thursday at 11:00am. However, if you need to schedule a time outside of those perimeters, simply let us know and we will accommodate you.
Pick-Up and Drop-Off
Please enter the school at the Woodlawn entrance, located at the north of the building facing Woodlawn Drive. Children are to be brought into the building, and parents MUST remember to sign their child(ren) in and out of school. You may park on Woodlawn Drive if room permits. We also have a parking lot directly east of the school on Walnut. While not exceptionally busy streets, please exercise caution when unloading and loading your child(ren).
Village Montessori will follow the Little Rock School District closings and delays. We will also post closings and delays on our Facebook account.

Lunches and Snacks
You are invited to send your children with their own lunch, or you may participate in our in house, hot, local and organic (when available) lunch option served with organic milk. There will be a separate fee assessed. Please contact us regarding dietary restrictions or desires.
Additionally, it is our policy to provide our children with healthy, nutritious snacks that are both low in sugar and as organic as possible. To better balance snack time and eliminate parental responsibility snack provision, we have included a snack fee into our annual activities fee.
